Added Value Sites:Overview of 3 Tribes, Anasazi 1, Anasazi 2, Hohokam 1, Hohokam 2, Mogollon 1, Mogollon 2. Students will navigate the websites to collect information about their group tribe. Using websites instead of a textbook increases student engagement and encouraged the student to act as the teacher.
Google Docs: Each group will have a Google Doc with a graphic organizer to fill out. This adds interactivity and knowledge sharing.
Twitter: While each group is working, the students will "tweet" the teacher with their questions. This provides added engagement through social networking.
